The orchid is a colossal inspiration for many artists. This is 22 inch wide round alcohol ink on yupo surface. I named it after a family of Italian friends.

I named this ” Orchid Art” after an Italian family of friends, as it seemed appropriate to name an artwork after them. Alcohol ink is challenging to work with. It requires learning how to use a new medium. It does not outwork similar to any other type of ink or artist’s colors.
Sometimes it forms & flows into a “happy accident”; & other times, a messy mud puddle.
