I found some really pretty cherry veneer- it’s almost thin as paper. I thought, this looks like great fun to paint with. This measures about 11×14.

There is a lake that winds thru tall cypress trees and small islands. There are 8 different species of swans that live there. It looks almost surreal to me.

Ginkgo leaves appear like little dresses. I created the singer’s dress first from sheet music, & then from ginkgo leaves. I wanted to dress her up like the way Opera singers are. Then I thought of creating a ginkgo hat for her.

Last year I was invited twice, to paint at a womens conference. These were mainly African-American women, & their worship & singing was definitely high energy! I had a wonderful time & it gave me a blessed inspiration in my painting. In fact, I am creating a series of artworks on this subject. This one is 16×20;& is for sale: 120.

This is a 30 inch wide round painting. I painted this during revival at Abundant Life church in Berea, SC. ; when people were receiving prayer, healing, and freedom in Holy Spirit. I stood by the musicians and painted this in 3 evenings. It was so peaceful & fun.

Finding the recent recording from Steffany Gretzinger very inspiring, I splashed some magenta and indian yellow on a canvas, added texture, & let it dry. As I gazed at the canvas, I saw a face, with what appeared to be a flying crown and a broken bowl with wine. I spread magenta acrylic ink on parts this canvas, & transparent burnt sienna ink on other parts. When it was dry, I began using ultramarine blue, & magenta; texturing the colors in layers, using sea sponges & paper.
