One day I began splashing acrylic paint on a canvas; & let it dry, & imagined an orchid there, in the midst of the texture. I made 2 similar.

I spread magenta acrylic ink on parts this canvas, & transparent burnt sienna ink on other parts. When it was dry, I began using ultramarine blue, & magenta; texturing the colors in layers, using sea sponges & paper.
